Music Monday/ Lana Del Rey

Well, Hello Monday! It’s a gorgeous Monday after all that gloomy weather last week! This week’s Music Monday, we’re completely enchanted by LANA DEL REY’s voice and music! Though she blew onto the music scene with mixed reviews, we still seem to be singing along to this controversial American singer-songwriter. Lana, has describes herself as a “self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra”.

Her music style brings a fresh cinematic sound to pop culture while fusing it with a retro 1950s and 60s Americana Lounge Music. She launched her first album, Born to Die, in January 2012 and towards the end of 2012, she managed launch her next album, Paradise. You can purchase both her albums on iTunes.
