Wine & Dine Wednesday / Gio Rana's Really Really Nice Restaurant

Ready to plan your weekend culinary experience! If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, great eats at a decent price then try a favorite of ours Gio Rana’s in the east end of Toronto.  You wont miss this resto just off Queen St. E standing out among the planer facades is a big nose on the exterior of the building!

Family style seating, tables for two, a bar and private dinning rooms available on request make this space energetic and romantic!

Once a non-descript ‘50s bank building at Queen and Leslie this space has been whimsically transformed into a masterpiece. We love the elegant rustic appeal this restaurant has with vintage chandeliers, mix-matched chairs, and purposely-unfinished walls.

AOD’s Top Menu Recommendations:

Grande meatball in tangy ragu
Involtini Pulled pork mixed with grilled onions wrapped in rib eye topped with au jus and goats cheese
Garlic shrimp with crispy Parmesan risotto cake
Osso Bucco veal shank
Pan Seared dry packed scallops with Italian pork belly and jus
Brussel Sprout slaw with asiago cheese and crispy pancetta

Yum! Just looking at the food is making us hungry! Book reservations ASAP if you plan to go this weekend. This hip Italian eatery gets packed and quickly!
