The image below should give you an ideal of the type of geometric prints available and what you should be looking for when shopping.

Here are a few tips on how to create the perfect space with geometric prints.

Less is More
If you’re just starting to introduce geometric prints into your space then it’s best to start off small. Use bold prints in small dosage through throw pillows, carpets, home accessories, or artwork.

Colour Coordination
If you’re using a subtle colour then you can incorporate more geometric patterns in the space. This works cause they’re in the same subtle family colour yet they’re not completing with one another. They’ll actually complement each other better when in the same colour category.

Size equals Balance
Playing with different sizes will make a large impact. See how there’s a lot of geometric prints going on in the picture bellow? This works because of the different sizes and patterns coupled with the pops of colours through 3 throw pillows.

Love the Accent
We love the accent geometric print wall in the picture below. It works really well picking up the red tones in the furniture pieces and the hardwood floor, making this space really work.

Bold is Exciting
Bold prints are exciting but yours eyes will be over stimulated if the piece is alone. Therefore, it’s best to also use solid colour along with the geometric patterns to keep them grounded and not overly busy.

If you follow our simple guidelines, then you’ll definitely have a gorgeous space with geometric prints! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away. We’d love to help!
