Today, we are introducing a new feature on the blog. Every Friday, we will be bringing you a fabulous design find that we absolutely love.
Today's Friday Find is for all you pet owners and lovers, it is a fun and colour filled commercial space designed by MCM Interiors. Recently posted on Contemporist, My Fluffy Friend's Pet Shop is a bright, fresh, and interactive space for both dogs and dog owners. The 950 square foot commercial space has its own shop, kitchen, training room, and exercise room for the dogs! You wouldn't have guess that this space was once a dark lounge.
MCM Interiors creatively used an environmental theme transforming a large structural column wthin the space into an abstract tree form, with painted MDF rings suspended from the ceiling. The feature that we love in this space is the cash desk area; it is a brilliant design concept. The company logo is prominently displayed on the back wall and the little mushroom shaped pegs on the desktop allow owners to temporarily leash their dog while completing their transaction. We think these designers really know their pups! What do you think?
