More Karim - Milan Design Week 2010

Interesting concepts presented here by Karim Rashid for Corian. The space is modelled as a clean vessel, one that is efficient while preserving a very human quality. Im very much into the idea of living "cleaner"( you must watch the video ), I think allot of the way we live out our everyday lives is stuck in the 20th century. The real challenge to me is, how do we transition into 21c. living ? Is it as Karim proposes with a new slate, new design ? Is it vastly different from how we are living now or is it a slight modification on the present ideas of clean living ? I will try and look for some more examples of clean efficient 21c. living- thats all for now.

One thing I can say forsure is I am really into the kitchen design. How great it would be to never have to scrub a stainless steel sink again !
