Mexico City

I really dont know what to say about Mexico City but if I had to ( and I do ) describe it, I would as follows.

A place of magical contradictions that causes one to question what the true meaning of the art of style is. 3 days into my return to Toronto I am still contemplating what this experience has meant for me. There are many mis-conceptions about Mexico city, dangerous, crowded, tourist trap. I found a city of art and culture, of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Luis Barragon of flourishing market places and vibrant cosmopolitan fashions. However, something that stood out above the rest, was the interaction of one way of life with another. There was a little bit of Spanish colonialism, modernist minimalism, North American big box, Art Noveau and I could go on. Here are a few snaps from the trip with more to come , which I hope you will enjoy.
